the ivi® and vxiplug&play instrument driver standards are commonly used to enable communication with instruments. ivi and vxiplug&play instrument drivers often ship with an instrument or are available from the manufacturer’s website.
instrument control toolbox™ support package for ivi and vxiplug&play drivers provides support for ivi-c and vxiplug&play instrument drivers directly from matlab®. you can use matlab software to control instruments, make measurements, analyze data, and build test systems. once data is in matlab, you can analyze and visualize that data for tasks such as signal processing, statistical analysis, digital filtering, and curve fitting.
this support package provides support for oscilloscopes, function generators, signal analyzers, signal generators and other test equipment from keysight, rohde & schwarz, national instruments and other vendors are also supported with this package.
